Carol A. Barbour serves as president of Friends Life Care Partners and three of its subsidiaries: Friends Life Care (operating in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware); Friends Life Care Consultants, the consulting division of Friends Life Care; and Intervention Associates, a care management and private-duty home care company. In 1986 Carol joined the team that pioneered the continuing care at home business model. She was subsequently named president of Friends Life Care Partners in 1991.

Under Carol’s leadership, Friends Life Care has grown to $15M in revenue, serving membership of over 2,400 in the Delaware Valley (the greater Philadelphia area) and northern Delaware. All operating policies, procedures and systems tailored to the continuing care at home business model have been designed and implemented with Carol's oversight, along with a proprietary software program that coordinates the clinical and financial aspects of the program. Carol’s strategic positioning of the organization has resulted in Friends Life Care and Intervention Associates remaining at the forefront of care for the aging.

Before joining FRC Management, Inc., Carol worked for six years with a mid-Atlantic nursing home corporation. She held several positions there, including vice president for planning and budgeting, assistant vice president for operations, and operations manager. She supervised the daily operations for the company's nursing home facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey—a total of 860 beds. She also designed, implemented and supervised the business systems for all of the company's facilities and oversaw operational and budgetary feasibility studies for new acquisitions.

Carol earned a Master of Business Administration in health administration from Temple University. She speaks on the subject of continuing care at home at national professional associations, and is interviewed on behalf of Friends Life Care by local and national media.

Elise Lamarra joined Friends Life Care in March 2007 to lead the Care Coordination Department. She was promoted to vice president of clinical operations in 2009, overseeing Friends Life Care and two other subsidiaries of Friends Life Care Partners: Intervention Associates, a care management and guardianship services organization, and Caring Friends Home Care, a non-medical private-duty home care company. Elise also serves as president of Caring Friends Home Care and as corporate risk manager, system-wide.

Under Elise’s leadership, Friends Life Care has developed and implemented a number of evidence-based prevention programs, including Falls Risk Reduction, Cognitive Assessment/Memory Enhancement, Medication Management and Stroke Prevention. Elise also leads the team developing the content of the company's innovative VigR™ program. Member satisfaction, as measured by Continuous Quality Improvement surveys, is at an all time high, with overall satisfaction levels close to 100%.

Elise has more than 25 years of clinical, administrative and managerial experience in acute care, home health care, hospice care and managed care. For the last 20 years, she has devoted her career to home care and hospice work. For 14 of those years, she has held executive positions. Elise is a member of the Pennsylvania Home Care Association and serves on its public affairs committee.

Elise earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University Cincinnati College of Nursing and Health and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development and Leadership at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She has made presentations at the local and national level, including the Montgomery County (PA) Estate Planning Council, LeadingAge and the American Society on Aging.

Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Controller/Treasurer
Friends Life Care Partners

Dianna Rienstra serves as Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Controller/Treasurer of Friends Life Care Partners and its subsidiary corporations. In this role, she oversees, coordinates and supervises finance and technology.

Dianna joined Friends Life Care in 2007, after a long, successful career in public accounting, where her primary expertise was in the area of audit, tax and consulting services for nonprofit organizations.

Under Dianna’s leadership, detailed financial and statistical analyses of Friends Life Care's experience in continuing care at home operations has resulted in refined management information systems and the ability to benchmark and monitor key drivers of the organization’s success.

A graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey, Dianna holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Dianna is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). She has made presentations at the state and national level, including LeadingAge.
